Yoga Saga

Recently I read that Tamil Nadu Government is going to make Yoga compulsory for all school students. Though it may be a good news for those who don’t have any idea about Yoga, it is a bad news for believers of “Good News”! You can label me Christian fundamentalist, anti-secular, anti-Yoga or even anti-Hindu. But why I write this page is not to attack any religion or culture, but to safeguard the rights of minorities living in the country. Already minorities have shown negative interest in Yoga in a state where it was made compulsory. But our Health Minister who is ignorant of cruel murder of children, is in favor of Yoga or in other words against the sentiments of minorities.

Yoga – What Is It?

Yoga is a combination of spiritual AND physical exercise. It is NOT physical exercise alone. If you doubt me, you just find any book written on Yoga by renowned sages or Yogis. They will all give more emphasis on spiritual side of Yoga than presenting as a mere physical exercise. If you still have a doubt, just search Surya Namaskar. It means Sun Worship. From a Christian perspective, worshipping any other object or person than the Trinitical God is a grave sin. Even in the above Wikipedia link, you can find a subtitle “Mantras to pronounce”. Moreover, while practicing Yoga, the students are asked to make their mind blank and free of a thought, which is very dangerous and can invite evil spirits to govern their mind. Practices like pranayama are very risky and can be lethal is practiced slightly wrong.

What Is The Problem?

The first problem is forcing someone to worship or to make postures or to chant something against their religious belief. Second is Yoga is not the best! Young children can spend their time in playground and other exercises like drill for physical exercise and read good books, learn music, art works etc for psychological exercise. I bet music or other arts like painting, embroidery, dance etc can provide much more psychological strength than Yoga, while other form of exercises give more power and tone to your body than Yoga. Third and most important point is even Yoga teachers agree that practicing certain Yogas wrongly can end in irreversible damage to muscles, brain cells even mind.

Other practical problems include the following. There are no sufficient numbers of efficient Yoga teachers to make this scheme work. If the Government enforces this scheme in a hurry (i.e. from next year), there is a greater chance for inefficient amateur Yoga teachers teaching in schools as government employees or already available Physical Trainers start teaching Yoga after a very quick Yoga induction.

It is nearly impossible to monitor all the students in the Yoga class and some wrong postures or practices may harm their body or mind. If the students try things like pranayama at home, it may end in suffocation or even in death. Many Yogis admit that Yoga should be performed with empty stomach in early morning or in evening. But our Indian schools start by 9 in the morning with all the children with a full breakfast and ends well before evening. The Government also provides lunch! In this case which is the optimal time for Yoga practice?

Some Questions You May Ask

Q: Yoga is well accepted even in Europe and America! Why you oppose it?

A: Simply acceptance in West cannot make anything good! Do you rejoice drugs and strip-clubs as in West?

Q: Even “some” Catholics practice Yoga and meditation. They are so tolerant why not you?

A: I seriously doubt the knowledge about Yoga of those “some” Catholics. I think following this link is enough for a clear Catholic view on Yoga.

Q: Yoga is Secular. Why you make a religious issue?

A: Secularism itself is a religion. Don’t force it on me!

Q: Yoga is a lifestyle. Why don’t you give a try?

A: I’m satisfied with Christian lifestyle even if I fail many times to strictly adhere to it.

Already the Government (both central and state) has not acted sufficiently in response to attacks on Churches. If they again try to corrode our religious rights in the name of secularism or by compulsion, it is totally unacceptable. If memorizing Apostles’ Creed is made mandatory in all European Schools, won’t the people of other faiths living there protest? Please note, I never fully endorse the contents in links pointing outside my blog. Contents like Wikipeida may change with time.

Think What?

Recently I went through BBC news feeds. I stumbled upon this page posing as a great Philosophical booster. But I found almost everything in the page very illogical to think. Here is an extract from the page and my response for the same.

Suppose Bill is a healthy man without family or loved ones. Would it be ok painlessly to kill him if his organs would save five people, one of whom needs a heart, another a kidney, and so on? If not, why not?

Consider another case: you and six others are kidnapped, and the kidnapper somehow persuades you that if you shoot dead one of the other hostages, he will set the remaining five free, whereas if you do not, he will shoot all six. (Either way, he'll release you.)

If in this case you should kill one to save five, why not in the previous, organs case? If in this case too you have qualms, consider yet another: you're in the cab of a runaway tram and see five people tied to the track ahead. You have the option of sending the tram on to the track forking off to the left, on which only one person is tied. Surely you should send the tram left, killing one to save five.

But then why not kill Bill?

My Response: Never ever I will kill Bill! In the kidnapping case, I will organize a revolt along with all the six other hostages with me. I will try to over-power the kidnappers and try to free them all. Never to kill one of them to save other. Like wise, I will try to untie the people or to stop the tram. If not possible, I will not choose to kill the one on left track. Because if I divert the tram in to the left track it may end up in a much disastrous accident killing even more number of people. But in case of Bill’s organ transplant, we have many healthy people dying everyday in accidents and we have many other alternative than killing Bill. To correlate the kidnapping or the tram case with Bill’s case is clear nonsense!

Consider a photo of someone you think is you eight years ago. What makes that person you? You might say he she was composed of the same cells as you now. But most of your cells are replaced every seven years. You might instead say you're an organism, a particular human being, and that organisms can survive cell replacement - this oak being the same tree as the sapling I planted last year.

But are you really an entire human being? If surgeons swapped George Bush's brain for yours, surely the Bush look-alike, recovering from the operation in the White House, would be you. Hence it is tempting to say that you are a human brain, not a human being.

But why the brain and not the spleen? Presumably because the brain supports your mental states, eg your hopes, fears, beliefs, values, and memories. But then it looks like it's actually those mental states that count, not the brain supporting them. So the view is that even if the surgeons didn't implant your brain in Bush's skull, but merely scanned it, wiped it, and then imprinted its states on to Bush's pre-wiped brain, the Bush look-alike recovering in the White House would again be you.

But the view faces a problem: what if surgeons imprinted your mental states on two pre-wiped brains: George Bush's and Gordon Brown's? Would you be in the White House or in Downing Street? There's nothing on which to base a sensible choice. Yet one person cannot be in two places at once.

In the end, then, no attempt to make sense of your continued existence over time works. You are not the person who started reading this article.

My Response: A Traditional Christian approach towards God is a simple answer. God is One but Three in Person. Three are Equal and Indivisible. Similarly, human, body, mind and soul all share equality in the identity of a person. If some one change my memories and brain mappings to Bush’s then I will not become Bush, but I will start believing that I am Bush. Let us take a small but simpler example. A person lost all his memory except language and other cognitive abilities in a head injury. If we tell him again and again that he is John Calvin and at one point make him believe, does that mean that we have a John Calvin back? No! Similarly all your wiping and writing are just making a person to believe what he is not! It is just brain-washing. In no way it can be changing identity.

My body + My mind + My life = I

My body + Bush’s mind + My life = I, believing that I am Bush but definitely NOT Bush

Only Bush’s body + his mind + his life is Bush! This combination is unique. You can not fake it by changing any one of it!

What reason do you have to believe there's a computer screen in front of you? Presumably that you see it, or seem to. But our senses occasionally mislead us. A straight stick half-submerged in water sometimes look bent; two equally long lines sometimes look different lengths.

But this, you might reply, doesn't show that the senses cannot provide good reasons for beliefs about the world. By analogy, even an imperfect barometer can give you good reason to believe it's about to rain.

Before relying on the barometer, after all, you might independently check it by going outside to see whether it tends to rain when the barometer indicates that it will. You establish that the barometer is right 99% of the time. After that, surely, its readings can be good reasons to believe it will rain.

Perhaps so, but the analogy fails. For you cannot independently check your senses. You cannot jump outside of the experiences they provide to check they're generally reliable. So your senses give you no reason at all to believe that there is a computer screen in front of you."

My Response: Yes. We can not jump outside and check . But we have a ability to find the relative truth. While in relation, we can never achieve the absolute truth. But what we can do is we can near absolute truth. For example, above visual illusion will fall if I use a ruler. Likewise we can use a relative measure to find the approximation of absolute truth. Ruler with inches or centimeters is not a matter. Both can help me to break illusion. Likewise, we are always able to cross check with almost constant values like speed of light(C), acceleration due to gravity(g), universal gravitational constant(G) etc.

Suppose that Fred existed shortly after the Big Bang. He had unlimited intelligence and memory, and knew all the scientific laws governing the universe and all the properties of every particle that then existed. Thus equipped, billions of years ago, he could have worked out that, eventually, planet Earth would come to exist, that you would too, and that right now you would be reading this article.

After all, even back then he could have worked out all the facts about the location and state of every particle that now exists.

And once those facts are fixed, so is the fact that you are now reading this article. No one's denying you chose to read this. But your choice had causes (certain events in your brain, for example), which in turn had causes, and so on right back to the Big Bang. So your reading this was predictable by Fred long before you existed. Once you came along, it was already far too late for you to do anything about it.

Now, of course, Fred didn't really exist, so he didn't really predict your every move. But the point is: he could have. You might object that modern physics tells us that there is a certain amount of fundamental randomness in the universe, and that this would have upset Fred's predictions. But is this reassuring? Notice that, in ordinary life, it is precisely when people act unpredictably that we sometimes question whether they have acted freely and responsibly. So freewill begins to look incompatible both with causal determination and with randomness. None of us, then, ever do anything freely and responsibly."

My Response: Actually knowing future is not the same as predicting future. For a much simple example, it is like saying God knew that Adam will eat the fruit. But in truth “God knew that Adam may eat the fruit or may not! God knows what will happen if he eat, or abstains.” Complete wisdom of future is knowing what will happen on either case. Similarly I can make Fred’s prediction wrong easily. But If Fred has a complete knowledge, he will know what will happen if I read this article and what will happen if not! That is Fred will know that I will write a response if I read and I will not, if I had not. But If Fred is capable of predicting that I will read, then I can prove his prediction wrong by not reading given I know his prediction prior.

David Bain is a lecturer in philosophy at the University of Glasgow

My Response: Even University of Glasgow has an inefficient lecturer.

Abortion – (Adults Only)

I am wondering about the ban on smoking in public places and it’s effectiveness on public health. Even though the ban is just a partial one, it doesn’t cover roads, streets, houses, cars etc. Then I started thinking the positive side of the ban. Even if only one smoker, quits, he will live 5 to 10 years extra than his previously destined life-span. That is a good move by Government and Health Ministry. It is true. Smoking reduces the life expectancy of a healthy adult from 5 to 15 years. But why the hell the Government and the Health minister are silent about the evil, hellish, demonic, abortion which causes instant death and wipes out the entire life-expectancy of an unborn child? By abortion, I mean intentional abortion not accidental miscarriages. Abortion in India is on rise constantly and more horrific is the truth that sex-selective abortions are practiced widely than in any other nation. Moreover, the smoker chooses to smoke on his own and he is causing a slow damage at his own risk to his own body. But abortion is a very serious crime and cold-blooded murder (pictures in this link are so graphic not suitable for children, pregnant, weak-hearted and psychologically unstable people.) It is someone who decides to take the life of an unborn child which has the right to live!

Is Abortion Sin?

If someone asks me this question, I will just give him a low-blow and reply “Yes, you bloody ba$+@r&!” How dare anyone can ask whether killing an innocent child is sin or not? If killing a full grown adult is sin, if killing a person in coma who cannot counter your actions is sin, if killing a 90 years old granny is sin, then what about killing an unborn child which deserves to be born, eat, grow, live, reproduce and enjoy life? Why the Government which punishes other murderers, leave the cruel devils who murder unborn children?

Some Arguments for Abortion and Solutions

  1. Economic reason – If your economy is so bad, you should not have married or you should have saved your semen you fool.
  2. It is a girl child – I think you have to kill your mom and wife before killing you own child. They are also women, right? Or else just emasculate yourself. It is your sperm which decided the gender of your child.
  3. The child is illegitimate – Not the child but you. Let the child be born, and then both biological parents should be hanged.
  4. The child is a rape victim’s – Let the child live with its mother if she wills or let it be adopted by couples longing for a child.
  5. Child bearing is painful (feminist approach) – Then why you allowed your hymen to be torn. Was that not painful?
  6. Child bearing takes the freedom from my life (feminist approach) – Then why you gave someone the freedom to 'do' you?
  7. The child birth may cost the mother’s life – Try to save both. Doctors! You are not paid for saving any one of them but both. Try till last moment. If you can’t then let someone who can try!
  8. The child is mentally retarded or handicapped or with some other serious medical condition – Let the child be born. Let us treat it and serve it as much as we can. Who is the most retarded? A child with small brain or an adult who knows that abortion is murder but still supports it?
  9. We, the parents don’t like to have child – I don’t like to see you both. Shall I kill you?
  10. I like the feeling of getting aborted. (or) I love to perform abortion. Mmmm… I love it – Some serious mental problem. Consult a psychiatrist.

Am I Supporting Smoking?

No! Never. But I ask why the Health Minister, who is so much concerned about evil effects of smoking is not saying a word against abortion? Every year smoking kills nearly 1 million people in India. But abortion kills 6.7 million children every year in India. Can you see why I am getting that much irritated with abortion? If the Government is so good that it cares about 1 million people who knowingly compromise their health for pleasure of smoking, why the Government and the so called “good” Health Minister are not caring about the murder of 6.7 million Indians, who can grow in to scientists, jawans, doctors, IAS, IPS etc?

What My Religion Says?

I believe in Bible and Christianity. Bible clearly condemns child-sacrifice. Only evil gods or demons demand for children to be sacrificed. As we are in modern world, these demons have no option to satisfy their hunger for human blood except through abortion, terrorism and violent riots. You can see what the Bible and Christians believe about abortion by clicking here, here, here (Catholic) or here, here and here (Protestant). Any Christian who even thinks that abortion is not sin is heading towards hell. Jesus will never allow in to Heaven, the people who plan to kill the life which He creates.

Conclusion and Prayer

In India we talk about right to speech, right to express, right to vote, right to get information etc. But we fail to give the RIGHT TO LIVE for 6.7 million children every year. Isn’t this 'funny'? Why the Government and Health minister act like caring the public by banning smoking but allow 6,700,000 of Indians die every year in the name of abortion? Abortion is State-sponsored terrorism. It is crime, murder, inhuman, idiotic, psychotic, evil stupid, demonic, devilish, hellish, horrific, worse than all crimes combined. We all must protest by writing, speaking, acting and voting against the supporters of abortion.

Let us pray. Dear Jesus, we understand that each and every life is created by You specially. We understand that life begins from the very moment of conception. We also know that killing a human life is a mortal sin. We pray for those murderer doctors and parents who kill those innocent children. Jesus, You open their eyes and show them the intensity of their sin. Let them repent and turn to You for forgiveness. Lord, with your Hand, protect those little ones from evil In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the LORD. -Leviticus 18:21

Artists I Love To Hear Often

While sitting at the window seat in a crowded bus or while getting crushed in a crowded train, I take one medicine with me always. Music… It redefines me. It makes me breath. It pacifies my mind sometimes while sometimes the same makes me a rogue. But I don’t care. I am sure that there are many people who label music evil. Most of them misunderstand religion and music. For example some Christian website claims that music is a satanic ritual and evil in nature. I ask them: “Why King David played harp and sang Psalms? How many poems are there in Bible and how many times the Bible calls the faithful people to sing praise to Lord with harps, trumpets and claps?” I don’t know what bothers them about music. But surely I find music as an integral part of worship.

When I started to hear music, as like other people I heard Pop first, then Slow Rock, then Rap, then Rock and at last Metal. Now a days I look down at Pop and Rap except few songs. Main reason is they involve in little or no instruments played. They just loop some tracks and that’s all. That is not what we want right? Here I produce you with albums I love the most. Top 25 of the albums of various genres and the reason why I love.

Shenba’s Ranking

25. 50 Cent – I’m really in doubt whether I still love this or not
24. Eminem – Hmmm… Ok for its self-hatred themes
23. Michael Learns to Rock – Nice to hear when it is really peaceful
22. Backstreet Boys – They are the reason behind Deva’s success
21. Michael Jackson – This is the album I first listened to
20. Westlife – Really amazing melodies. I tried chords for the first time with “My Love”
19. Blue – Bit ok. But the band is no more. He… He…
18. Enrique Iglesias – This guy often sing on love failure. I just wanna forget!
17. AC-DC – “Whiskey On The Rocks!” I love both song and the thing.
16. Led Zeppelin – Sufi mystic music + African traditional music + etc = Rock!
15. Pink Floyd – Pink is a bad color
14. Iron Maiden – Dark themes but good music. They offend my religion a lot!
13. Linkin Park – Themes are real good. But they rely mainly on power chords.
12. Men at Work – Nice style which I love to hear again and again
11. Guns N Roses – Slash, Axel Rose etc… But they've spoiled a lot
10. Queen – I love these guys. But not in Freddy’s way!
9. Nirvana – Kurt, you are no more :'-( But your music still lives :-)
8. Rolling Stones – I don’t know how they came up with such vast varieties.
7. Bryan Adams – Canadians can also make it!
6. Santana – This guy is one of the reasons for my interest in guitar. Even before I knew his name, I was a fan of him.
5. Eric Clapton – His life history and his songs. Both are very touching.
4. Aerosmith – No Comments.
3. Def Leppard – They are the kind of 80’s. They are very compelling to hear.
2. Bon Jovi – The first Rock band I heard. It dates really far back.
1. U2 & Metallica – You may wonder why I choose two entirely different bands for first place. When I am in a good mood, U2 cherish my mind and fortifies my faith in Jesus with their unique style. The Edge’s peculiar guitar and Bono’s voice with good percussion and bass. One, Yahweh, With or Without You, Love is Blindness are some of my favorites. On the other hand, when I’m angry with myself or with society, Metallica is my company. I love all of Metallica's current and past band memebers. If you still haven't heard about Metallica, you can consult an ENT. Their songs are like a dose of testosterone straight in to your brain. One, Fade To Black, My Friend Of Misery, I Disappear, The Unforgiven, The Unforgiven III are some of my all time favorites. Both bands have sung Thin Lizzy's version of "Whiskey in the Jar"!

Google Chrome – Reviewed

I am always an Opensource supporter. In no way I can give the same respect and credits I give Firefox. I hate IE 6 or IE 7 for that case anything from Windows, the capitalists! Now comes another one. Google! I start this article as I start downloading the Chrome browser in my machine. When I post this in my blog, I will do it in Chrome. That’s the deal! But for sure I will be with Firefox forever!

How It Came?

When I was in office, I got a mail saying Google’s browser is going to hit the market. I thought it is another Google hoax. But when I opened my browser today, It was a surprise for me to see that it is “Sad but true” (not Metallica’s). Firefox had and has a good relationship with Google. Google even promoted Firefox by some means. But moneymakers have little or no heart. They can’t tolerate anyone’s growth. With IE and Safari backed by multi-billion enterprises, Mozilla proved itself being opensource and non-profitable organization. Now we all know IE and Safari lack a lot in features and performance while Firefox and Opera innovate everyday something new and make browsing much faster, enjoyable and customizable. Google just took some features from Firefox, some from Opera, some look and feel from Safari. Nothing to boast yourself Google!

Some In-No-Way-tions

  1. Google thinks it is them who have first combined search with address bar. But it is not so, even IE has that option. Only difference is they have integrated Google Suggest here. This may seem to be innovative for broadband or High-speed internet users. But not for dial-up or GPRS users like me. Moreover, if the proxy server we use needs authentication, then you’re gone. You’ll be asked authentication for each letter you type! Hears hell?
  2. The setup file cannot be downloaded. You can only download a stupid application of some 474KB. I wondered whether they have really made it that much light-weight! When I double clicked, it started to download the main application. Really annoying. Why I have to download a 474KB application to download their main application? My Mozilla browser can do that download. This remains me why I quit using Y! Messenger. Another thing to note is that, if I have to install this browser in another PC, then I have to download it again. With slow-connections it is the very annoying part. Why can’t they provide the freedom of having a setup-file backup with us? Are they afraid of reverse engineering?
  3. They have beheaded the browser. Yes! They have removed Title bar and drop-down menus. That is really sick. Tabs and thumbnail concepts are copied from Firefox and Opera respectively.
  4. I see no noticeable difference in speed.
  5. Some sites are not rendered properly.
  6. No API support baby! You can’t develop plug-ins!
  7. If you select something and give Ctrl+C, it will be copied to clipboard. That is usual. But Chrome has come up with a new feature! If you select nothing and give Ctrl+C, whatever you had in clipboard is gone!
  8. The blocked pop-up is shown at bottom, which you’ll miss if the website is with a blue theme. The status bar overlaps the pop-up alert. While the pop-up alert in turn overlaps the horizontal scroll bar.
  9. To display all the recently used sites as thumbnails is not a good idea. You may be using Orkut in office or you may be a porn surfer. When you close the tab suddenly when someone comes, you’ll be get caught when you open a new tab. The thumbnail will betray you buddy! Be a bit careful about it!
  10. I was unable to start a download from an MP3 download website.
  11. I won’t render pdf files in the browser.

What I like

  1. To read texty sites like “Wikipedia”, this is so good. It uses almost all the space in screen for rendering the site.
  2. Blue shades used everywhere looks nice for me! But I think they should make the color a customizable one. Not everyone in this blue-pearl loves blue!
  3. It renders my mother-tongue Tamil properly, which some browsers won’t.
  4. Recently closed tab, though it is a demerit for web-abusers, I find it useful.
  5. The download is ok, but needs some improvements like, once you close the small download bar at bottom you can’t get it back.
  6. Starts faster than other browsers.

As I already told you, I will never praise any corporal products if there is an opensource alternate for it. Chrome is yet another browser with not so unique features. For any kind of web-user, it is not as versatile as Firefox. Still you can download and try it yourself to find the truth.

Why I don’t like my Sony Ericsson W700i mobile

When I first had an idea of buying a new mobile phone, I just asked my friend. He told he is using a W700i for more than one and half years and it is fine. I just bought it without any second thought as I was already fed up with Nokia. The phone with bill cost around 8,800 INR when I bought 8 months back. Unlike Nokia phones, they gave data cable, headset, memory card adapter etc. But the real problems I faced made me to think Nokia is better.

  1. The headset comes with a data-cable port pin. This is a total rubbish idea. The data cable port should be used as minimal as possible for long life. But if you plug and unplug your head set, then the port or the headset will go soon. You can not hear songs or radio while charging via USB port.
  2. The second problem is the charger also comes with same data-cable port pin. How can you charge while you listen to music or radio? Total waste.
  3. The back battery case cover is not tight. If you take your mobile out of pocket in a hurry, you’ll have your case in pocket, batter at ground and your switched off mobile in hand. I had few bitter experiences like this while attempting to attend calls.
  4. The loud speaker (loud is too much for that speaker) is so feeble than other mobiles my friends own.
  5. The next thing is joystick. It will have a rubber like tip. It fell down after 2 months use. I’m not a game or message freak. Just regular use only made it to fall. Now my joystick won’t work in downwards and right-side.
  6. The keys are too small, surely a set back for SMS freaks.
  7. While hearing music, you can not hear ringtone in your headphones if the mobile is in loud mode. This is again a crazy idea. If you have paused the song, the earphones still in your ears, you’ll not hear your mobile ringing. As I told earlier, the speaker also is too weak. I missed several calls like this. If you put in silent and take your headphones off, again youll miss calls.
  8. If your phone is in vibrate mode, if you receive a message even during a call, your phone will vibrate. How annoying it will be if the phone vibrates while keeping it tightly over ears? My old Nokia phone will give a feeble yet distinguishable beep sound for this same case.
  9. The software of the phone really sucks. It will give you unnecessary notifications. Like “Busy tone sent” with an “OK” option. You may press it for ok. But it will disappear before that making your press to call the number again.
  10. If you have received a service message, and not given an OK for that, then all the other Text messages you receive will not produce any vibration or tone. I have missed many important messages like this.
  11. You can not install any software except the good old jars. This is really funny. After buying a higher model I have to still play snake and Tetris!
  12. If you receive a message or service message, it will recognize each and every number as phone number. With a faulty joystick the problem is doubled. If you press down, it will call the number in the message.
  13. You can not customize the panel.
  14. The phone is comparatively bulky.
  15. The only supported DUO-memory card is costlier than other cards. Your memory upgrade will be a budget shock for you.
  16. The data-port is open and often gets dusty. This will be a problem for headset, charging and connectivity.
  17. The phone lacks a keypad lock with password.
  18. You can not hide personal files in the phone behind a password.
  19. The built-in phone browser is very slow and incompatible with many web-sites. I am currently using Opera Mini. That is good. Sony should think about embedding such browsers.
  20. The “C” button is a clear nonsense. It will delete whatever highlighted. I have found contacts and files deleted when I kept keypad unlocked in pocket.
  21. Only latest attended or received or dialed call time will be saved. If you got 5 missed calls from same number, you can only know the last call’s time.
  22. The PC-suite and the disk2Phone software which comes with the phone will ask you service pack, .NET and .NET service pack in windows platform. For a Linux user like me they provide nothing but frustration.

If you still think W700i is worth buying, I don’t bother. But I now feel that I missed Nokia or some other mobile phones for this W700i. Sony Ericsson can’t even satisfy a customer who had spent nearly 9,000 INR should learn a lot or just quit from market.
